Public Sector Innovation
The Governement of Ontario is responsible for all public sector activities and oversee's all public service employees
for the operations of the Province of Ontario. This includes ministries, departments and agencies province-wide, servicing a population on over 12 million citizens. Management had initially mandated their internal IT department to develop a technology to service this initiative; the project ran into difficulty resulting in a very short window to deliver on a promised launch date. IdealinkTM was deployed by the Premier's Cabinet Office to generate hard-dollar
savings and fee-based service ideas from FTEs and PTEs network wide,
leading to financial gains beyond original targets and the seeding of a governement-funded
incubator.
